Acupuncture Billing Policy

​

Acupuncture services at Southlands General Practice are fully privately billed for all age groups.

All patients are required to pay the consultation fee at the time of service, and eligible patients

who hold a valid Medicare card will receive a Medicare rebate afterwards from Medicare.

Acupuncture at our clinic is offered by Dr Huey Lee as a complementary therapy and is not a substitute for standard medical care. All patients are encouraged to maintain regular follow-up with their primary healthcare provider. Treatment is tailored to each patient’s health needs. Dr Huey Lee is endorsed by Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and The Australian Medical Acupuncture College (AMAC).
