These include Blood pressure and heart health checks, General health assessments, Prostate health check, Sexual and hormonal health consultations, Ongoing men’s health support – for any other aspects of physical or mental health.
Our doctors provide a caring and supportive environment for children’s healthcare, including Routine childhood vaccinations, Growth and development checks, Everyday care for common health concerns such as minor illnesses and general wellbeing, Parental guidance and support – helping parents manage their child’s health needs with confidence.
Our doctors provide ongoing care and support for patients living with long-term health conditions. This includes helping patients manage respiratory, metabolic, kidney, and heart-related concerns, with a focus on improving health and quality of life.

Our clinic provides a range of doctor-recommended injection and infusion services to support patient health, including Routine and travel vaccinations, Specialist-guided therapies for allergies, Doctor-supervised vitamin and nutritional injections, Long-term contraceptive procedures, other injections and infusions as recommended by your healthcare provider following a consultation
Driver's License Medicals, Employment required health checks, Worker's Compensation and MVA Cases. These Services are not covered by Medicare Australia and are private.
Regular skin checks are important for people of all ages due to the risk of skin cancer in Australia. Our doctors provide thorough skin assessments and can perform minor procedures when needed, such as biopsies, treatment of ingrown toenails, and wedge resections — all carried out with professional care.
Bulk Billed Pathology is available for the Medicare-Rebatable items through the pathology collection center located inside our medical center.

YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
What is a mixed billing general practice ? At Southlands General Practice GP consultations are bulk billed for all patients under 16 years and over 65 years of age. Any other age group with or without a pension card will incur a GAP fee for consultations. Certain services like Chronic Disease Management Plans, Health Assessments and routine vaccinations and doctor-recommended injections will be bulk billed for everyone. We also have a treatment room fee for consumables used during procedures like wound care/dressings/INR.
What are your consultation fees ? We offer mixed billing on weekdays and private billing for all patients on weekends. For our latest consultation fees, please check our website (desktop view recommended) or call our reception team for assistance.
Coiming first time as a new patient If you are visiting us for the first time, please complete the New Patient Form and Consent Form when booking online. Online booking is our preferred method. If you cannot book online, please arrive 10 minutes before your consultation to complete the required paperwork. Remember to bring your ID, Medicare card, and any Health Care or Concession Card.
How can I have medical care when the practice is closed? When our practice is closed, you can call Night Doctor on 1300 644 483 for a home visit for non-urgent conditions. In the case of an emergency, please call 000 or attend the Fiona Stanley Hospital Emergency Department, located at 11 Robin Warren Drive, Murdoch WA 6150.
What if I cannot attend my consultation? If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 2 hours in advance. Late cancellations or failure to attend may result in a cancellation fee of $40 payable before your next consult.
Do you offer bulk-billing services for pathology tests? Yes. We provide bulk billing for all Medicare-rebatable tests through our on-site Pathology Collection Centre, operated by Clinipath Pathology. This means eligible patients can access necessary tests without any out-of-pocket costs.
What should I do if I have concerns about the costs? If you have any questions or concerns about the costs of consultations, procedures, or dressings, please speak with our reception team. They are happy to provide clarification and assist with any financial enquiries related to your care.
