Mental Health is always a priority . We can assist with diagnosis , treatment , arranging Mental Health Care Plans and to facilitate access to psychologists and psychiatrists .
We offer Travel and routine Vaccinations, Allergy Desensitization , Prolia , Vitamin B12 Injections , Depot Contraception , Iron Infusions and any other required injection prescribed by a registered health care professional after review .
Driver's License Medicals, Employment required health checks, Worker's Compensation and MVA Cases. These Services are not covered by Medicare Australia and are private.
Routine Skin check is required for All ages due to risk of skin cancers . We can offer skin checks, Biopsies and minor skin procedures. We can manage ingrown toe nail and wedge resections . All managed by our experienced doctors.
Bulk Billed Pathology is available for the Medicare-Rebatable items through the pathology collection center located inside our medical center.

What is a mixed billing general practice ? At Southlands General Practice GP consultations are bulk billed for all patients under 16 years and also for patients over 65 who have a valid pension card. Any other age group with or without a pension card will incur a GAP fee for consultations. Certain services like Chronic Disease Management Plans, Health Assessments and routine vaccinations and injections prescribed by our doctors will be bulk billed for everyone. We also have a treatment room fee for certain procedures/wound care/dressings/INR to assist with covering the cost of consumables used.
What are your consultation fees ? We are Mixed Billing during weekdays and Private billing for all patients during the weekends. Please check our latest consult fees on our website by using a desktop browser or call our practice.
Coiming first time as a new patient As a new patient, please complete the new patient form and the consent form when booking online. Our preference is online booking. If for any reason you cannot book online you need to arrive 10 minutes before your consult to complete the new patient information. Please bring an ID, Medicare card and Health Care or Concession Card.

What if I cannot attend my consultation? If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 2 hours in advance. Late cancellations or failure to attend may result in a cancellation fee of $40 payable before your next consult.
Do you offer bulk-billing services for pathology tests? Yes, we provide bulk-billing services for all Medicare-rebatable tests through our Pathology Collection Centre, operated by Clinipath Pathology. This ensures that you can access necessary tests without any out-of-pocket costs for Medicare-eligible items.
What should I do if I have concerns about the costs? If you have any concerns or questions regarding the costs of consultations/procedures or dressings, please do not hesitate to speak with our reception staff. They are available to provide further clarification and assistance with any financial inquiries you may have related to your treatment.
